The invention relates to mechanical engineering and is supposed to be used in other branches of the national economy, where hollow shafts are used with drive elements attached to them, such as cams, gears, supporting tribes, and the like. The aim of the invention is to increase the reliability of fastening the drive elements. FIG. 1 shows a hollow shaft with a drive element attached thereto; in fig. 2 - drive element. The device comprises a hollow shaft 1 with a drive element 2 fixed thereto, for example a cam. The fastening is effected by expanding, for example, hydraulically, the shaft sections corresponding to the seating positions of the driving elements. The invention defines a rule of dimensioning, allowing material to be selected for a hollow shaft as a material with a small (much smaller) modulus of elasticity compared to the modulus of steel and at the same time determining the desired (suitable) material for the drive elements, ultimately getting satisfactory results.
